The Naugatuck Veterinary Hospital staff is dedicated to the health and well being of your pet. Here you will find a team of dedicated, experienced professionals who have the training and the special “human-to-animal” bond that drew them to this profession.

If you are already familiar with our practice, you’ve witnessed this during each and every visit. If you are new to the community or are looking for a new practice, we encourage you to contact the hospital to arrange a tour of the facility as a way of getting to know us. In the meantime, take a minute and get to know the members of our staff.

Dr. Sackler
Dr. Cheryl Sackler
Dr. Cheryl Sackler graduated as Valedictorian from the University of Connecticut School of Agriculture, and The Purdue School of Veterinary medicine with a special interest Opthalmology and Ultrasound. With her intense drive, and passion for animals and their well-being, she founded The Naugatuck Veterinary Hospital in 1987, and has been here leading the way ever since.

Dr. Sackler lives in Connecticut with her lovely husband Mark, her two Schkipperke’s, Ashley, and Bromley, and terrier mix, Chloe as well as Velcro the cat and two beloved horses, Prince and Murphy.

In her free time Dr. Sackler enjoys riding her horses and traveling to exotic locales, meeting with other veterinarians in other cultures and sharing with them different techniques, sciences and experiences, and her extraordinary knowledge of the field.

Dr. Dallas
Dr. Stacey Dallas
Dr. Stacey Dallas graduated from the University of Sydney, School of Veterinary Medicine in Sydney, Australia, with a special interest in internal medicine. Soon thereafter she came to our hospital and immediately she became a favorite to all of our furry patients as well as their owners. With her kind hearted soft spoken manner, and fierce knowledge of the Veterinary field, she has quite the following.

Dr. Dallas lives in Connecticut with her wonderful husband Russ and their terrier mix Millie, their horse, Penelope, and cats, Callie and Sylvester. In her free time, Dr. Dallas enjoys riding and competing in horse trials, baking delicious meals and desserts, and also appreciates finding new restaurants to frequent.

We are so lucky to have her and you will assuredly agree!

Dr. Dana Scozzafava
Dr. Dana Scozzafava
It is a pleasure to welcome to our practice, Dr. Dana Scozzafava D.V.M.

Dr. Scozzafava received her bachelor’s degree from Western Connecticut State University and received her Veterinary degree at The College of Veterinary Medicine at Ohio State University. She was Born and raised Mostly in the South East but did spend her high school year’s right here in Connecticut.

She is very proud of her young family with her supportive husband, Jason and two lovely and lively young girls that keep her busy, as well as a Golden Retriever named Morgan, a Lab mix named, Astro and a beautiful Tortoiseshell cat named, Kadien.

When she has a spare moment to herself from that active and energetic family, she enjoys pottery, baking, reading, and hiking. She is a fantastic addition to our bustling practice.
