Our Hospital cat "Sox" loves to sit on her lap all day!
Stephanie's goal is to be YOUR hometown Veterinarian, Thanks Steph!
Dr. Bates started telling people she wanted to be an “animal doctor” when she was three years old. She went to undergraduate school at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. Through lots of study and stubbornness she attended veterinary school at Murdoch University in Perth Australia. After finishing vet school she moved back to the states and like a bad sitcom into her father’s basement in Massachusetts with her husband, great dane, cat, and 18 month old son. Shortly after she and her family settled in Connecticut; where she now lives with her husband, several 2 legged children, and Gidget the stray from Aussie, River the mutt from down south and three domestic rats Silence, Bo and Gallifrey. When not working in the vet world she takes care of all the kiddos and in the odd moment of free time enjoys crafting and science fiction- yes she is a big nerd.
Dr Bates helped us out with relief work when Dr Dallas was on maternity leave in 2016, the clients and the staff loved her, so we are happy she has come back permanently!
Welcome Back Dr Bates!

THANKS KIM!! :))
SOX, the Official Hospital Greeter
Sox was adopted by the hospital staff several years ago, and has wiggled his way into our hearts ever since.
His favorite activities include chewing through bags of prescription food on the front counter (much to our dismay), pawning lunch morsels from staff, and warming Dr Dallas's chair when it's vacant. Though we think his new mommy is now Dr Kozol..better chair??
Though Sox would love a forever home where he doesn't have to spend the weekends in a cage, we are not sure if the staff would truly let him go....
Thanks Sox, for making us laugh and chase you down after you have tipped over the freeze dried liver bucket for the fourth time today!! LOVE YA!
